As a young, fast-growing company, Reederei Blue Star GmbH is always looking for motivated and qualified personnel ready to contribute to the concept of competitive and high-quality shipmanagement.
Reederei Blue Star GmbH, founded in Hamburg in 2002, has since experienced a period of rapid growth. Having started the first year of operation with an order for five geared medium sized container vessels in Korea, this order was quickly extended to nine. All of them were delivered in 2003 and 2004.
In 2004 an additional 14 boxships, owned and managed by P & O Nedlloyd, came under German ownership and thus under the management of Reederei Blue Star GmbH.
The following years a series of eight high-tech large container vessels (8450 TEU) were delivered from Japanese yards and three vessels of similar size, built in Korea, were taken over from another German shipping company.
At present, Reederei Blue Star is operating 34 container vessels of various sizes and design.

Reederei Blue Star GmbH is always interested in qualified, experienced and motivated seafarers. We currently employ British, German, Ukrainian and Filipino sea staff.
At present, we are looking for German Masters, Chief Engineers, 2nd Engineers and apprentices (Auszubildende zum Schiffsmechaniker) for our four 8450 TEU vessels that have been reflagged to German flag in 2008.
