The purpose of the environmental protection policy of Reederei Blue Star GmbH is to ensure that people, ship or any other property are not exposed to any risk and to preserve the environment.
To achieve these objectives Reederei Blue Star GmbH issues instructions complying with mandatory rules and regulations. Also applicable codes, guidelines and standards recommended by IMO, administrations, classification societies and maritime industry organizations are taken into account. The instructions shall ensure the handling of the vessel and their equipment as well as the treatment of the cargo carried, in particular dangerous cargo.
The established instructions are not limited to the use aboard the company’s fleet. Also office related processes are considered as applicable and measures are established to archival.
Each employee shall inform the Company about any possibility or need for improvement of day-to-day business, service or organizational subjects.
